Did you know that today is Robert E. Lee's birthday? That's right, he was born on January 19th, 1807. That has absolutely nothing to do with anything, I just saw it on the calender and decided to type it here. Hey, I said they were random thoughts.

Here is my official prediction for this weekend's playoff game between the Falcons and the Eagles: The team named after a bird will win.

My wife is the funniest person I know (no offense to the other genuinely funny folks that I know).

I love to play on Ebay (and no Jenn, I haven't bought anything lately).

I think it's funny when our multi-million dollar custom written software system crashes at work and reduces my laptop to a $4000 cd player.

My boss does not think that it's funny when it happens 3 times a week.

Inspired by other bloggers to whom I am related, I decided to create a list of facts about myself. Since I have no earthly idea how long I'll be able to work on this, I'll decline at this point to put any kind of numerical value with my list.

  • I like nachos
  • I love nachos
  • I could eat nachos several times a week
  • My wife does not love nachos
  • Her sister does
  • I think that's one reason that Heather and I get along so well
  • The farther I get from high school, the better athlete I was (if you don't believe me, just ask)
  • I love my wife very much
  • I will straight jack you up if you mess with any member of my family
  • I mean it- we're talking wrath of Biblical proportions
  • I love football
  • I could go the rest of my life without watching another baseball game and still die happy
  • I have recently become addicted to minor league hockey
  • I hate mayonaise
  • I really hate mayonaise
  • So does my wife, thank goodness
  • My first car was a 1984 oldsmobile cutlass supreme. It was a four door sedan that was two tone brown and missing its headliner. I'm still amazed that that car ran as long as it did.

Okay, so after reading and posting on blogs that belong to several other folks, I've decided to try it for myself. Now for any of you out there that were wondering, don't expect a lot of insightful writings packed with hidden meanings. Most of what I intend to write will be mindless braindroppings that will in some way reflect my mood at the time. Who am I kidding? Most of them will probably be about sports. That said, I hope that you enjoy my blog. (if you don't, then you don't have to stay)
